Panther Players is a drama club for Nashua High School South, they have been performing plays since the establishment of the school, yet the split between the two new high schools — North and South forced the later to establish a separate, new identity and tradition. The director of Panther Players wanted to have a web site where he could post news, pictures of previous shows and attract new members.
Challenge: Attracting members
Panther Players wanted to attract more members and differentiate themselves from the North drama club.
Solution: New Identity
Inspired by age and history of theater I helped the new identity preserve it′s wisdom of past by using subtler hues. By editing and posting photos of previous shows potential members could get a glimpse of what it would be like to dive into the world of drama.
Challenge: Maintenance
The web site had to be easy to change for someone with no knowledge of HTML.
Solution: Web Standards
By designing with web standards in mind the site now could be maintained directly from the source code or by using a web editor such as FrontPage.
